Your current key system is a liability. Someone loses a key, you’re rekeying everything. An employee leaves on bad terms, you’re changing locks and hoping they didn’t make copies.
Access control systems fix that. You grant access through keycards, fobs, or mobile credentials. When someone shouldn’t have access anymore, you revoke it instantly from your phone or computer. No rekeying, no wondering, no risk.
You also get a record of every entry. If something goes missing or an incident happens, you know who was there and when. That’s not just security—it’s accountability. For office buildings, retail spaces, warehouses, and multi-tenant properties in Radnor, that kind of visibility changes how you operate.
The right system scales with you. Start with your front entrance and add interior doors, gates, or loading docks as your needs grow.
We’ve been doing this since the 1880s. We’re the largest locksmith operation in the Delaware Valley, and we’ve stayed that way because we don’t cut corners.
Tom McCausland and his daughter Chrissy run the business today. They’ve built a corporate security division—Corporate Security Integrators—that focuses specifically on commercial access control and CCTV systems for businesses like yours.
Radnor’s mix of long-standing retail shops and modern commercial developments means you need someone who understands both traditional security and current technology. We do walk-throughs of your property, assess your actual vulnerabilities, and design systems that make sense for how you operate. Not what’s easiest to install—what actually protects you.
First, we come to your property. We walk through with you and look at every entry point—front doors, back doors, interior offices, storage areas, loading docks. We’re identifying where you’re vulnerable and where access control makes the most difference.
Then we talk about how your business actually works. Who needs access to what? When? Do you have employees coming in at different times, contractors who need temporary access, or multiple locations you’re managing? Your answers shape the system we recommend.
We design the system around your needs. That includes choosing between card readers, keypads, biometric scanners, or mobile access. We’ll explain what each option does, what it costs, and why it might or might not make sense for you.
Installation happens on your schedule. Our technicians mount the hardware, run the wiring, integrate it with your existing locks or replace them if needed, and connect everything to your network. We use OEM parts, so the equipment lasts and performs the way it’s supposed to.
Before we leave, we train you on the system. You’ll know how to add users, revoke access, pull reports, and troubleshoot basic issues. If something goes wrong later, you call us. We’re local, and we respond fast.
Ready to get started?
You’re getting door access control systems that let you manage entry remotely. Grant or revoke credentials from anywhere. Schedule access by time or day—contractors only get in during business hours, cleaning crews only after close.
We install systems that integrate with your existing infrastructure. If you already have CCTV cameras, we can tie them into your access control so you see who’s entering in real time. If you’re managing multiple buildings, we set up centralized control so you’re not juggling different platforms.
Radnor businesses deal with a mix of foot traffic, deliveries, and employee access. Your system needs to handle all of it without slowing anyone down. We install gate access control systems for parking areas, door entry systems for lobbies, and restricted access for sensitive areas like server rooms or inventory storage.
You also get reporting. Track who entered, when, and through which door. If you’re dealing with compliance requirements or insurance audits, that data matters. The system logs everything automatically.
We’re not selling you the most expensive option. We’re selling you what works. If a simpler setup handles your needs, that’s what we recommend. If you need cloud-based management or mobile credentials because you’re running multiple locations, we’ll tell you why and show you how it works.
It depends on how many doors you’re securing and what type of system you need. A single-door setup with a basic card reader starts around $1,500 to $2,500 installed. That includes the reader, controller, power supply, and integration with your existing lock or a new electric strike.
If you’re securing multiple doors or adding features like mobile access, biometric readers, or cloud-based management, you’re looking at $3,000 to $8,000+ depending on scope. Larger buildings with ten or more access points can run higher, especially if we’re integrating with CCTV or alarm systems.
We don’t give quotes over the phone because every property is different. We need to see your doors, understand your access patterns, and know whether you need new locks or if your current hardware works. After the walk-through, we’ll give you a detailed estimate that breaks down equipment, labor, and what you’re actually paying for. No surprises, no upselling.
You can manage it yourself. That’s the point. Once we install and train you, you control everything—adding users, revoking access, pulling entry logs, setting schedules.
Most systems we install have web-based or mobile interfaces. You log in, click a few buttons, and you’re done. Adding a new employee takes about 30 seconds. Deactivating someone who left takes even less.
We train you on the system before we leave. You’ll know how to handle the day-to-day stuff. If you run into something you can’t figure out—maybe you want to set up a complex schedule or integrate a new door—you call us. We’ll either walk you through it or come out and handle it.
Some businesses prefer us to manage everything. If you don’t want to deal with it, we offer ongoing support contracts. We handle user management, system updates, troubleshooting, everything. But most of our Radnor clients like having control themselves and just calling us when they need help.
If the system fails, your doors default to whatever fail-safe mode you choose during installation. Most businesses set doors to unlock during a power outage so people can exit safely. You can also set them to stay locked if security is a bigger concern than convenience.
If someone gets locked out because their card isn’t working, you have a few options. You can override the door remotely if your system is cloud-based. You can use a backup keypad code if you installed one. Or you can call us.
We’re based in Prospect Park, right next to Radnor. If you have an emergency lockout, we’re getting someone to you in 20 to 30 minutes most of the time. We don’t damage your doors to get you open, and we fix the access control issue while we’re there.
System failures are rare if the equipment is installed correctly and maintained. We use quality components and install them right the first time. But if something does break—a card reader stops responding, a controller goes offline—we come out and fix it. You’re not stuck waiting days for a technician.
Usually, yes. Most commercial doors can be retrofitted with access control without replacing the entire door or frame. We assess your current hardware during the walk-through and tell you what’s possible.
If your doors already have electric strikes or magnetic locks, we can often integrate new access control readers with what’s there. If you have standard mechanical locks, we’ll add electric strikes or mag locks depending on your door type and how much security you need.
Some older doors or non-standard frames need more work. If the door isn’t compatible with electric hardware, we’ll tell you upfront and explain your options—either reinforce the frame, replace the door, or secure a different entry point instead.
We’ve worked on everything from historic buildings in Radnor’s older commercial districts to new construction in mixed-use developments. There’s usually a way to make it work without tearing everything out. And if we do need to replace hardware, we’re doing it with quality components that last. You’re not redoing this in three years.
A single-door installation usually takes half a day. We’re mounting the reader, installing the controller and power supply, running wiring, integrating or replacing the lock, and testing everything. If your building’s wiring is straightforward and we don’t hit surprises, we’re done in four to six hours.
Multi-door installations take longer. A five-door system might take two days depending on how far apart the doors are and whether we’re running new wiring or using existing conduit. Larger projects with ten or more doors, or systems that integrate with CCTV and alarms, can take a week or more.
We schedule installations around your business hours. If you can’t have us working during the day, we’ll come in after hours or on weekends. We’re not leaving your doors unsecured overnight—if we can’t finish in one visit, we make sure everything is locked and functional before we leave.
The walk-through and design phase happens before installation. Once we start the install, we’re moving efficiently. We’ve done this enough times that we know how to avoid delays. If we run into an issue—unexpected wiring problems, incompatible hardware—we stop, explain what’s happening, and give you options before moving forward.
Yes. If another company installed your system and it’s not working right, we’ll come out and fix it. We work on most major brands and can troubleshoot issues even if we’re not familiar with your specific setup.
Common problems we fix include card readers that stopped responding, controllers that went offline, doors that won’t unlock or lock properly, and software that’s not communicating with the hardware. Sometimes it’s a failed component. Sometimes it’s a configuration issue. We diagnose it and give you a clear answer about what’s wrong and what it costs to fix.
If your system is old or the company that installed it is gone, we can also upgrade or replace it. We’ll assess whether it makes sense to repair what you have or start fresh with newer equipment. You’re not locked into keeping a system that’s giving you problems just because someone else installed it.
We’ve been doing locksmith and security work in the Delaware Valley for over 140 years. We’ve seen every type of access control system, every installation mistake, and every failure point. If it can be fixed, we’ll fix it. If it can’t, we’ll tell you why and what your options are.
